I got to catch an original cast show on Broadway years ago, pretty freaking amazing. The local show (traveling) was good too

Lucky you! Yes, the current casting is very strong and the execution is excellent.

My wife and I went to the touring show in Madison last fall. It was really enjoyable. I know they will be at Minneapolis again in a year and we will probably go again.

It’s an involved and complex story and worth seeing more than once.

I’ve seen it twice and loved it both times.

The current national tour or another? I’m impressed with how the two current leads, Koch and Cooper, project so much personality into their roles.

Hell yes it is. I saw it on broadway in 2004.

That must have been cool. I’m a fan of Idina Menzel.

I saw it two years ago and three years ago, so probably not the current set.

That’s what’s cool about the theatre. You get to see the same show, but not exactly the same. It’s a living thing.

Last year, the touring company had Alyssa Fox in the lead. Thought she sang it better than Menzel, honestly.

Very different tone qualities and styles. Don’t think you could go wrong with either one.

It was awesome. I hadn’t really read much about it going in and I was pleasantly surprised.

Me too. It was a complex and grown up story with only a couple of holes in it.
